The new Collection UPLIFT by Lemongrass House was created in collaboration with JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter, Chantal Kreviazuk with the packaging artwork created by celebrity athlete and human rights artist - Carling Jackson. We are honoured to have developed Chantal’s unique signature scent for our line of products from which all sales will benefit War Child.
When blending a unique scent exclusively for Chantal Kreviazuk she chose something that inspires joy, and soothes the soul.
It was only appropriate to call the blend UPLIFT.
All five products are handcrafted in small batches with our all-natural ingredients - all scented with Chantal's signature scent.
The scent can be described as refreshing, floral and a touch of sweetness.
Every sale from this collection will contribute to helping War Child.

Founder Samantha Nutt has worked in war zones for more than half of her life.
She founded War Child Canada in 1999 after working as a young doctor with children facing the violence and despair of war. She saw how long it takes for communities to recover from conflict after the guns fall silent. For twenty years, the organization has advocated for children and families in war-torn areas around the world.
Chantal Kreviazuk is a Canadian Grammy award winning singer songwriter, Order of Canada Member, advocate for justice and lover of others around the world.
Chantal is one of War Child’s longest serving Ambassadors, having supported War Child Canada since the charity began 20 years ago. Chantal has accompanied War Child Founder Dr. Samantha Nutt on visits to many of War Child's programs including those in Iraq, Ethiopia and Jordan.
Her work with War Child has allowed her to create pieces in collaboration with children affected by war. The combination of modern photography with our current visual culture has led to people becoming desensitized to harsh realities, and inured to the pain of others - this is especially true with photos of children who often have been through so much that people forget they’re looking into the eyes of a child. Carling inquired as to how she could use the practice of “art for social change” to give MORE agency, control, and POWER to children - so that they can tell you THEIR story through their own images, words, and voice.
So, Carling painted their artwork in the background juxtaposed with a portrait of them in the foreground. The juxtaposition reinforces the reality these children face and makes it that much harder to forget, turn away, ignore - the contrast becomes too present, the reality too powerful.
